Certified in plastic surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the College des Médecins de Quebec since 1990, Dr. Mastropasqua maintains both a hospital-based practice in plastic and reconstructive surgery and a private practice in esthetic surgery. With the full gamut of techniques at our disposal, from classic surgical techniques to newer, minimally invasive techniques, we believe in optimizing the risk/benefit ratio of surgery through choice of appropriate procedures based on patient needs and desires. A team approach, where the patient becomes a partner with the doctor is at the heart of our philosophy of practice, and as such, patient education is an essential part of our pre-treatment consultation. We believe the pre-operative consultation to be essential in formulating our treatment plan together.
